Wakeboard Club
Inspiring Confidence, Skills & Community Through Water Sports
Curve Water Activities CIC is our community group dedicated to making water sports fun and accessible for kids and young people. Our main focus is running kids’ wakeboard clubs, giving young riders the chance to learn new skills, gain confidence, and make friends along the way.
From £15 per session
Our Kids’ Wakeboard Club is for 8–16 year olds of all abilities – from complete beginners to riders who want more time on the water.
It’s not just about wakeboarding – it’s about: Picking up new skills at a pace that suits them, building confidence both on and off the water, Making friends and having a great time in a friendly, supportive group
Our experienced, friendly instructors make sure everyone feels comfortable and encouraged. There’s no pressure, just plenty of cheers and high-fives as kids progress.
To make it easier for families, the club is subsidised by over 70% off the usual price, so more kids can enjoy regular wakeboarding without breaking the bank.
All gear is provided, safety is a top priority, and sessions are structured to be relaxed and enjoyable.

You’ll need to be able to swim 25m on your own and feel confident jumping into the water. You might go under the water and will need to be able to swim back to the cable. Our coaches are on hand for safety, all hold PB2 licenses and are able to drive the safety boat.
-
Children aged 8 to 16 years old can attend our kid’s wakeboard club but must have either an adult or guardian to supervise for the duration of the session.
-
We provide all the equipment you need to wakeboard. This includes wetsuits, lifejackets, helmets and wakeboard boots and boards. You will need to bring a towel and swimming costume.
-
Glasses: Regular glasses aren’t allowed while wakeboarding
Jewellery: No jewellery is allowed, this includes earrings and piercings so please leave them at home or in a safe place before your session.
-
Check your booked session time and aim to arrive at least 30 minutes early. This gives you time to check in, complete waivers, and get ready. The safety briefing starts 10 minutes before your session — and we can’t extend your time if you’re late.
Why A Community Interest Company?
Curve Water Activities CIC is all about giving back to the community. As a CIC, we focus on making a difference rather than making a profit.
Money we earn, along with funding and grants, is put straight back into:
Keeping kids’ wakeboard sessions affordable
Helping kids who might not otherwise get to try watersports
Equipment, coaching development and fun community programmes
By running the club this way, we help kids boost confidence, learn new skills, stay active and make friends, while also keeping it fair and accessible for all families.
Funding and grant support are what let us keep sessions heavily subsidised, reach more families, and build sustainable, inclusive youth programmes.
