Curve Aqua Climb is the only over water ropes course in Essex - £16

Try something new this summer with Essex's only water-based ropes course. Come check out the newest attraction at Curve Water Sports, the Aqua Climb is the ultimate day out for friends and family. Our wooden adventure in St Osyth, Essex, is ideal for putting your skills to the test. Come swing, balance, and glide around our course while attempting not to fall in. Our Aqua Climb is open to anyone over the age of 8 and taller than 1.2m. Open Water Lifeguards are on hand to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.

£16 for an hour session - Includes Wetsuits - Shoes Required

Your Aqua Climb session will last one hour and will begin with a safety briefing. All safety equipment is provided, including a wetsuit, helmet, and life jacket. You must wear hard-soled shoes (we do sell them at our onsite shop if you forget them)

To participate in the Aqua Climb, you must be at least 8 years old and over 1.2m tall. Anyone participating in the Aqua Climb must be able to swim 25 metres while wearing a life jacket.

We strongly advise pregnant women, people with ongoing health issues, and people who have had previous injuries not to participate.

The Park

The Aqua Climb is made up of 12 different obstacles which are joined together on a tree top like adventure over the water. 

There are many paths you can take with varying levels of difficulty. Test your balance on the wire walk, jump from tyre to tyre and fly down our zip wire, just try and not fall in! Don't worry if you do, handy rope ladders will help you get back to the path.!

Our Aqua Climb was created to be fun, but expect a challenge as even the simplest obstacle can surprise you. With our Fully Qualified life guards on watch at all times you can push yourself to make the next step.

Groups and Parties 

Our Aqua Climb is ideal for kids parties, Stag and Hen dos, team days out, or just a fun day out with a group of your friends. If you have a large group, why not hire out the Aqua Climb privately? 

Our water sports center is ideal for schools to learn outside of the classroom in a fun, safe, and challenging environment.

We can accommodate any group size, with a variety of activities on site such as the Aqua Park, Paddleboarding, Kayaking, Wakeboarding, and Ringo. Why not let us put together the perfect package for you?

  • Do you need to Swim

    It is a requirement that you are able to swim 25m unaided. We ask all participants to jump in the water and swim across to the obstacles. You are likely to go under water and need to be confident in the water. You have to be able to pull yourself up out of the water, and it can be tiring.

  • Restrictions

    There is a minimum height of 1.2m and a maximum weight of 120kg permitted on the Aqua Climb.

  • Age and Parent Restrictions

    Children aged 8 to 17 years old inclusive can attend any session but must have either a adult or guardian on shore, or on the Aqua Climb with them for the duration of the session.

    18 years old and over can attend any session without supervision.

  • When do Sessions Start

    You need to arrive 30 minutes before the start time you have booked. Once you have arrived you must come to reception to check in.

  • What do I wear?

    We ask all participants to wear shoes on the Aqua Climb. The activity price includes wetsuits, helmets and life jackets and are provided once you have checked in at reception. Wetsuits are optional but shoes, life jackets and helmets are compulsory.

  • Can I wear glasses on the Aqua Climb

    The simple answer is NO! We do not allow any glass objects on the Aqua Climb for obvious reasons. If you need glasses to see then you will need to bring goggles with lenses in.

  • Can you wear Jewellery

    We do not allow any jewellery on the Aqua Climb so please take it off before you come or leave it in a safe place before you enter the briefing area.

  • Can I wear Shoes on the Aqua Climb

    It is compulsory to wear shoes when on the Aqua Climb, these are not provided but can be bought from our shop.
